Hussein Anan, MD, CAQSM
Founder & Chairman

Hussein is a Double-Board Certified Physician in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine with a passion for Holistic Care and Community Services, focusing on overall health and well-being.
He obtained his Medical Degree in Egypt in 2010 then moved to the United States to pursue his dreams. He completed his Family Medicine Residency training at Saint Luke’s University Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 2016 where he was elected Chief Resident, followed by Sports Medicine Fellowship training at Henry Ford Hospital/Wayne State University in Michigan in 2018.
Dr. Anan’s vision for One Hand Care started in his early career life and grew as he advanced through different positions, where he saw the struggles of the current healthcare model to fulfill the needs of individuals and the community. He believes that better outcomes are achievable by incorporating other modalities with Western medicine, to address the Mind, Body, and Spirit as a whole for a Holistic Care Model.
Since relocating to South Florida in 2020, Hussein follows a path in non-profit care believing that healthcare is a basic human right that must be accessible to everyone. He worked at different Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, focusing on disenfranchised and underserved population under different settings including LGBTQ+ health, geriatrics, foster system, homeless services and addiction care.
I am a firm believer that health and well-being come from within, and healthy mind and spirit are the key to a healthy body and a positive attitude in life.
