Matthew Constantine
Vice Chairman
Matthew has been an Information Technology Project Manager for Broward County Government for the past 23 years. He earned his PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute over a decade ago. In his role with Broward County’s Human Services Department, he developed a System of Care database application that streamlined access for families seeking services for children with special needs.
Later, Matthew focused on the homeless population, facilitating community discussions on the Continuum of Care (CoC). He also collaborated with HIV agencies funded by the Ryan White Grantee, organizing monthly user group meetings.
In the last five years, Mr. Constantine has become a strong advocate for mindfulness meditation, leading daily sessions for Broward County employees and others interested in the practice. As a member of the recovery community, he understands the transformative power of meditation and positive living. He believes that recovery is attainable for anyone seeking a better life, recognizing that each individual’s journey is unique.
By embracing mindfulness and collaboration, we create systems that empower individuals to overcome challenges, find balance, and live a life that is happy, joyous, and free.
